Transports Security Commission – First Session

Le 12 October 2016

On October 11th 2016, general (retired) Jean-Paul Palomeros welcomed the members of Think the Future‘s Transport Security Commission. Among those who honoured us with their presence, French Senator François Bonhomme (Les Républicains, Tarn-et-Garonne), but also Patrick Gandil, General Director of Civil Aviation (DGAC) and Anne Marie Pellerin, former TSA (USA) representative in France.

Meeting et the Société d’Encouragement pour l’Industrie Nationale in Paris, this first session first came back on the debate held in June 2016 at the Cercle national des Armées. Talks dealt about PNR (Passengers Name Record), biometry and anti-terrorist measures inside infrastructures on the ground and airplanes alike. All in all, guests and speakers have tackled the whole field of risk analysis applied to an environment as specific as an airport.

Proud of this success, Think the Future is already  working on a second session to be held by November 2016, in order to make sure this Commission and its members can go deeper in their reflections, to the benefit of all.
